Ink Jet Prints Buy The Foot
Buy-the-Foot (BTF) printing is for the photographer that knows how to process their digital files, and wants museum quality inkjet prints at bargain prices.
How it works
You do the color management, spotting, prep, and sizing. You then take your multiple images and create one file (including borders if desired). Upload the file and we print it...done. You pay one very low per linear foot price. We do not inspect, tweak, or manage your file in any way, if it's in the file it prints.
Our BTF prints are printed on an Epson Professsional inkjet printer with archival K3 Ultrachrome HDR inks. Print width is 44" maximum. You are not charged by the width of the print but the length with a 1' minimum charge. After the first foot you will be charged in 6" increments.
Preparing Your File
All files must meet the following requirements:
- Files must be RGB, 8 bits per channel, Adobe RGB 1998 is preferred.
- Preferred resolution is 300 ppi at 100%, in other words, 300 ppi at actual print size.
- All files must be Flattened JPG or TIF files, no layers or alpha channels please.
- Maximum file length is 50ft. Note that the width is the width of our printer (44"), length is how much of that 44" wide roll is printed.
