Custom-made in New England, our welded aluminum frames feature seamless corners that won’t separate or gap—a sleek, classic look favored by museums and discerning artists. Available in 9 profiles with polished or brushed finishes, plus 18 powder-coated color options. Includes poplar strainer bar and works as traditional glazed, float, or shadow box frames. Glazing options: UV Conservation Clear Acrylic (standard), Optium Museum Acrylic® (premium museum-grade), or glass (local pickup only).

Welded Aluminum Frames – Michael “Nick” Nichols
Michael “Nick” Nichols, famed National Geographic photographer and Editor at Large, collaborated with DSI and The Philadelphia Museum of Art to bring his monumental show “Wild” to the public. Some 300 images from Nichols’s 27 National Geographic assignments were printed by Digital Silver Imaging and framed in welded aluminum frames. An extensive proofing process was designed, and the exhibition was a resounding success for the museum and the city of Philadelphia.
