Welded aluminum frames have perfectly joined corners for a clean, durable, professional look. Unlike “chop” aluminum frames that are joined at the corners, all four corners of our welded aluminum frames are seamless and will not separate or show a gap. These frames can be assembled with acrylic glazing or are available as a float style frame.
Each welded aluminum frame is custom made to order in one of 9 different profiles. Sides and face can be finished with a polished face with brushed sides, or brushed face and sides. Welded aluminum frames have a powder coated finish available in 18 different colors. Frames come with a poplar strainer bar.
Welded Aluminum Float Frames
Welded Aluminum Floater Frames or Floating frames are a clean and contemporary way to display your photos without glazing (acrylic or glass). Prints must be mounted to be used with a welded aluminum float frame. We recommend a UV-protective spray coat for our fine art inkjet prints in and archival waxing for our DSI Digital Fiber Prints® Glossy to make your prints resistant to water and easier to clean.
