Just wanted to send a note to say thank you so much for your help in getting my prints readjusted and sent back to me in such a timely manner. Huge thanks to Christopher and to you (DSI) for working with me, being accommodating and incredibly helpful. All of the prints look amazing, and I’m very proud of putting them on the wall at The Focus Gallery in Providence. I will also very proudly recommend DSI and your customer service to anybody and everybody that should ask about where I had my prints done.
Rebecca Moseman -Thank you very much for the b/w negative scan, it is beautiful. I have a drum scan of the same neg made by another lab and it’s a 99.99% match, the drum scan is minutely sharper at 400% every other time I look at it, meaning that every other time I look it’s as sharp… the difference is theoretical at best. You have a brilliant system Eric, congratulations and thank you again, I think you have me hooked.
Bill Gallery, Boston - Boston, MassachusettsYou guys do it EVERY. TIME. I used to be in fits with other printers thinking my works was inconsistent and mediocre. Now every time I open up my giant envelope to see my work, it looks ‘exactly’ how I submitted it. I’m so grateful.
Teresa Machal -…wanted to say thanks to everyone for the spectacular work on my recent orders. The printing is, as always, impeccable, but the mounting / matting / framing is also as close to perfection as anyone could want. On top of the top notch quality, everyone is very supportive, understanding, accommodating while keeping it all organized and delivered in a totally professional manner.
C. E. Courtney -Boston, MAKudos to all. Recently, I presented the challenge of dry mounting a very long and narrow Giclée print and you should know the result is excellent to my eye. Your Customer Service Specialist, Ji-In and Production Manager, Annie were both extremely helpful in developing the project and accomplishing it. Cordial, communicative, and careful are some of the adjectives that come to mind. Your services stand out. I ran into problems finding an outfit that could/would do the job:
One wouldn’t mount a print it hadn’t printed.
One wouldn’t mount a print that already had a UV photographic laminate.
Two couldn’t handle the length.
One wouldn’t tackle the narrowness.
One wouldn’t take it on, no explanation offered.
You did it well at a very reasonable cost.
I picked up the print today. It looks terrific! I’m an extremely fussy printer and pay way too much attention even some of the smaller details that only I’m going to notice. Your print not only matches, but surpasses the quality that I aim for. Also, the quality (& weight) of the paper is outstanding. It compares really nicely to a lot of the benefits of using Museo Silver Rag. The Museo paper looks more like the old Kodak Polycontrast B/W paper than Ilford Fiber. It’s now reassuring to me that I have such a quality resource for making larger prints that match the ‘spirit’ of my expectations and demands.
Thank you so much for making me a believer! I’d enjoy sharing both prints with you to get your feedback as well.

They are equally as excited to see the patients they serve on their office walls.

I just saw this on my studio wall today which reminded me- this one print was 8’ wide, perfect! Great file from #leicasl of course 🙂 But Eric, it’s been such a joy to work with you these past years. Maggie Steber - Via FacebookI continue to be impressed and pleased not only with the service and quality of the prints, but also with how pleasant it is to deal with everyone on the staff. I can say without reservation that DSI is a major factor in my ability to progress and enjoy the work.
James Mahoney, Boston - Boston, MAThe folks at Digital Silver Imaging produce the best B&W images I have ever had done. The team is friendly and smart. They are a pleasure to deal with and always make my work look great.
Carl Stoveland - Lake Worth, FloridaBlack-and-white photographic material is capable of a lot more range, nuance, and subjectivity than we usually see. I wanted to realize the vision for this work not only through the landscape but through the subjective material manipulation of the photographic print (DSI Digital Silver Fiber Prints®). In the work of photographers like Ansel Adams, W. Eugene Smith, and Roy DeCarava, the extensive manipulation of the print was as much part of realizing the narrative as the subject itself. I wanted to work in that extensive material way for this project. And I am working with a very narrow but rich range of tonality within the spectrum of black-and-white material. –
