“The Islamic Republic of Iran (1980-1983): A Photojournalist’s View”
Photojournalist Randy H. Goodman’s photography exhibit on Iran, was recently held during a Rutgers University conference entitled “The Iranian Revolution: Thirty Years”.
Ms. Goodman’s photographs capture the spirit and struggles of the early years of the revolution (1980-83) and include a portrait of Ayatollah Khomeini, religious services, images from the Iran-Iraq war zone, demonstrations and everyday life. The show was enthusiastically received and Goodman is currently scheduling other venues for the exhibit, including museums and universities throughout the country.
DSI collaborated with Goodman to scan and print the twenty images. Owner Eric Luden assisted with the edit and was a consultant to the project. Randy had this to say about DSI: “Phenomenal work! I loved all of the attention to details and Eric and Jay’s professional advice.”
